(More customer reviews)Simply put, this is one of the best force feedback driving wheels in the market and you won't be disappointed on its features and performance, especially when it compares with other wheels.
I've been playing PC racing sims for some years and I own the following games: Grand Prix Legends, Mobil 1 Rally Championship, Nascar 2000, Nascar 3, Colin McRae Rally 2.0, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed, Sports Car GT and many other older games.When the very first force feedback wheels came out, I rushed to buy them and the results were mostly disappointing.I have tried Microsoft FFB (mediocare), Interact (worst, IMHO), Logitech Formula Force (the older one, which is a much better one than the later model), Logitech Formula Force GP (the newer one, yet inferior, but it works with my PS2 on GT3) and the ACT-Labs Force RS (the best among all.The Ferrari wheel is definitely only 2nd to the Act-labs Force, and way way above the rest.
To sum up what I like about this wheel:
1) Very strong force feedback
2) Lots of buttons on the wheel for one-touch quick keys
3) Have both stick shift and paddle shift helps Rally-style and F1-style racing respectively
4) Precise steering
5) Good feeling steering wheel
6) Good clamp to hold it steadily onto the table
The only few things I don't like about this wheel:
1) The pedals are too close for people with big feet
2) The pedal platform is likely to skid around if put on carpet (easily fixed if it's put against a wall)
3) Too many wires connecting the wheel and the pedals and they are not the most smartly located
All in all, I think this wheel helps me decreasing my lap time significantly and immersing myself much more into the game.For example, it's just great to feel your car losing grip in a corner and eventually regain it and steer accordingly.The best thing is, you can use the on both your PC and PS2 (just a caution, it might be impossible to config the buttons in PS2 as it's not offically supported by Sony)!!!

(More customer reviews)Considering it is a fairly cheap wheel I suppose you get what you pay for;
It is sturdy but the pedals dont have a high enough resistance and IMO have too much travel in them.
The paddles are easy to reach but the other buttons are a little awkward and take some searching-for if you are in the heat of a moment.
The steering is EXTREMELY notchy, which for the game I play makes this wheel almost impossible to use with certain high powered rear wheel cars that are extremely sensitive to slight movements.

(More customer reviews)Steve Perry's Shadows of the Empire, first published in 1996, is the centerpiece of a Lucasfilm multi-media marketing campaign that could be summed up with the tag line "Everything but the movie."Not only was Perry assigned to write the novel, but Kenner (now Hasbro) rolled out a line of action figures, Dark Horse Comics published a multi-issue series, Nintendo released a console-based game for its Nintendo 64 system, and Joel McNeeley (The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles) composed an original score. In short, all that was missing was the feature film.
And what a film Shadows of the Empire would make! Although the novel is part of the Expanded Universe series that started with Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire, it's the first of the 1990s-era novels to explore the six-month or so time span between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
In this smartly-written, fast-paced novel, Lord Darth Vader and his evil master Emperor Palpatine still live and Han Solo is frozen in carbonite en route to Jabba's Palace on Tatooine.On that desert planet, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa wait for word from Lando Calrissian and Han's Wookiee first mate Chewbacca that the bounty hunter Boba Fett has landed with his prized captive.But Fett has taken a detour to repair his ship, the Slave I, and has been spotted on an Imperial-held world known as Gall.Deciding it's worth the risk, and with the assistance of Rogue Squadron and a dashing and brash mercenary named Dash Rendar, Luke and his friends mount a rescue attempt.

Even better, Perry uses the films (particularly The Empire Strikes Back) as a gold mine of material.The prologue, set inside the Imperial Palace, takes a short but crucial scene from Episode V and gives it new depth and meaning, even though Perry leaves the dialog intact.In the rest of the novel, the author not only creates his own adventures for the Star Wars heroes and villains, but also "sets the stage" for the "official story" as seen in Episode VI.(Indeed, other Lucasfilm-licensed or created projects incorporated Shadows of the Empire into their storyline.In 1997's Special Edition re-release of A New Hope, Asp droids make an appearance, as does Dash Rendar's ship, the Outrider. (More customer reviews)My honest opinion on DBZ Supersonic Warriors 2?? Well, let's just say the developers took the original design and amped it up a bit with some serious frenetic speed and visuals to match. What makes this game so special is its' three on three battles. The look and feel of the anime is definitely felt in this game, just as in Shin Budokai for the PSP. And, just as in that PSP game, this game will have you playing for quite sometime. Although, if you're expecting this game to be exactly like Shin Budokai, it's not. This is a Dragonball Z game that plays more like a Street Fighter game, in a 3-D environment. Control is good, although I would've loved for them to implement the DS touch pad into the gameplay more. The only thing it's used for in the game is swapping characters or summoning a team attack. At any rate, with the serious lack of fighting games for the DS at the moment, Supersonic Warriors 2 definitely holds the title for the best fighter for the DS thus far.

Like any game, though, it has it's share of flaws. Like players not being perfectly matched in the game, the fighting mechanics(punching and kicking) not being fleshed out enough, or the fact that you basically have to learn the ins & outs of the game before you get somewhere. Still, those flaws don't mar an otherwise perfect DBZ game. Production values were definitely high on this game.

Overall, if you're a DS owner who's into fighting games or the DBZ license in particular, Dragonball Z Supersonic Warriors 2 will definitely fill your appetite.

When I play PS3 fighting games like Tekken: Dark Resurrection or Soul Calibur 4, there's a tiny bit of lag. But if I play a PS2 fighting game like Capcom vs. SNK 2, the lag is more noticable.

(More customer reviews)At the time of its release this was perhaps the most realistic driving game around. Having already played the first two Gran Turismo games, this was just another step towards racing simulator perfection on the console. The game can be endlessly complex or as simple as you want it to be with any number of tuning and upgrade options. This game is only bested by Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2. Anyone who is a fan of race simulation games and owns a PS2 should already own this game and if not I suggest you buy it and waste a whole lot of time trying to achieve 100% completion as this is truly an achievement. Be warned, this game introduces endurance races which will take several hours to complete. Only the hardest of the hardened racers should even attempt these races. I wasted a whole chunk of my childhood playing this game and I can say with confidence that I do not regret it.
